Thomas Doyle Awarded Top Producing Agent for the Berkshire County region in 2012 at a former agency, Tom is now co-founder of Gateway Berkshire Real Estate (2014). In 2016, Tom will serve as Treasurer and Board member of the Berkshire Multiple Listing Service, Inc. Prior to entering the real estate market, Tom was a 40-year veteran of the institutional equity and option trading business. A graduate (B.S. in B.A.) of the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, his career started at Pershing & Co. (now a subsidiary of Bank of New York Mellon Corp) where he helped launch Pershing’s operations on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (“CBOE”) in 1973. He was a member of the CBOE during 1975-76 and became the youngest partner ever at Pershing & Co. Tom served on various exchange committees on both the CBOE and the American Stock Exchange. Tom resigned from Pershing in 1980.During 1980, Tom became a shareholder of Rochdale Securities Corporation. There he served in the roles from COO to co-CEO. From a base of $250,000 in revenues, Tom was instrumental in all aspects as the firm grew to $25 million in revenues when he departed in 1997. He created systems for tracking execution performance and was a speaker/panelist at various industry forums. He has been quoted in various financial publications, including the Wall Street Journal and was featured in an article for Trader’s Magazine.Tom serves on the Boards of a variety of organizations and is a Past President of Stockbridge Golf Club. He resides in Alford with his wife, Paula who currently is the elected Town Clerk.
